Emil Šverko and Neno Kezić are Split based architects whose work contributed significantly to the contemporary image of the city of Split. Although they belong to different generations and manage their individual architectural offices, their compatible artistic personalities and architectural approaches led to numerous successful collaborations. We discussed a wide range of topics with Šverko and Kezić, from Šverko’s early competition entries from the 70s and 80s and Kezić’s London experiences to recent realizations and economic and political mechanisms which shape contemporary architecture.
